What is a Rubicon?
The Rubicon model is simply the most capable Jeep Wrangler ever produced. It was designed and engineered for Jeepers, by Jeepers.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is equipped with the best heavy duty tires on the market: BF Goodrich Mud Terrains 255/75/17 (a rock-trembling 32-inch tire) with 3-ply sidewall protection and deep, meaty tread that confidently tackles anything the Death Valley terrain puts in its way. With these tires and the Farabee suspension lift, your Jeep sits 3.5-inches taller than other models of Wranglers.
The Rubicon
provides lower gearing than other models, with a 4:1 heavy-duty transfer case
and 4.10 gears in front and rear Dana 44 axles. This combination is ideal for
climbing and descending Death Valley’s steep mountain trails.
The Rubicon is also equipped with a push-button sway bar disconnect, which allows your axle to flex better with the terrain at slow 4-wheeling speeds, providing better traction and a more comfortable ride.
Still want more? The Rubicon boasts the mother-of-all-things-traction: Front and Rear Lockers at the push of a button. In the unlikely event that you find yourself in a spot where the Rubicon is struggling for traction, simply push a button to engage the rear lockers (with or without engaging the front lockers) and the powerful Rubicon utilizes any tiny bit of “gription” available to claw its way through.
The JK Rubicon is truly an amazing Jeep. Look good and feel confident on the trail driving the Farabee Rubicon!
4-door
models available at some locations
A Jeep Wrangler with
four doors?! Yes, it is true! Now Wranglers can comfortably accommodate up to
five people, with room for their stuff, too.
The two-door is more athletic, nimbly navigating sharp turns and climbing over
boulders, but the four-door is no slouch. Even trails like Goler Pass are a
breeze with the 4-door Rubicon, with room for the whole family!
Go Topless!
All of our Jeeps are equipped with removable tops, which allow you to choose:
Put the top all the way down for unobstructed views all around—a photographer’s dream!
Zip in the soft top windows for quiet, climate-controlled comfort on or off pavement. (Some locations may offer hard tops seasonally—please contact us.)
Or, our favorite: go Safari style! With the windows out, you can have the sun protection of having the top up, but still enjoy the fresh air of our gorgeous Death Valley 4x4 Jeep trails. Plus, if you get the whim, dropping the top all the way is a snap.
